Jim was brilliant. I'm heartbroken to hear of his passing. All good thoughts and prayers to his family. He spoke so proudly of his boys. God bless you and give you strength.

With my greatest sympathy to the Doheny - family.
As a neighbor in our early years, the adventures
with "E" & Sean always brings a smile to me years
later. While not seeing Jim in over 25 years, He will stay in my memory as a great person.
I am deeply saddened with this loss. God - Bless you Jim & your family.

I met Jim in 1984 and from that point on my life changed. I am who I am today because of Jim. Jim had a big heart, a great spirit for adventure and incrediable taste. He wanted the best for everybody and everything. He always wanted to solve the world's problems. Jim, now your finally at peace and it's your time to have the best of everything. You will always remain in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Jim Doheny-
I regret to say I haven't seen Jim Doheny in at least 20 years. But I knew Jim Doheny as friend and team mate for his first 16 years, and his personality and drive remain unfaded by time. Sean and Mrs. Doheny, as well as Jim's family, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Ignatius has had many supportive graduates over the years, none of which shared the unique status of Jim's generosity. His frequent humor and low tolerance for posturing are strong in our memory. Our appreciation of an Ignatius education is merely perfunctory without acknowledging that unique time when we were among a concentration of minds, personalities and characters we would never be privileged to experience again. Jim was an outstanding member of the class of 1974, whose greatest contribution to Ignatius, and to each of us, was his presence.

Jim will be sorely missed by so many. He was a gentle spirit. He has gone to a better place and his legacy will live on in Seamus and Liam. God bless his family and help them endure Jim's departure.
Lovingly and with deepest sympathies,
Abbie
