Cushing, James P. Age 89, Army Veteran of the Korean War, Retired Employee of CSX Transportation with 42 years of service. Member of Irish American Heritage Center Singers. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Kelly); loving father of Kevin (Jill), Karen (Zeke Kulhanek), Mary Kay and John (Jane) Cushing; proud grandfather of Jack (Anna Charles), PJ (Meghan), Claire and Sean Cushing, Max, Kelly and Ryan Kulhanek and Dylan and Colin Cushing and great-grandfather of Lucy; dear brother of the late Edward and Mary (the late Ernie) Lundin; fond uncle of many. Visitation Thursday, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. until time of funeral 8:45 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road ( 1/2 mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.
