Cesak, James R. Retired C.P.D. beloved husband of Patricia (nee O'Hare), loving father of James (Linda), Brian C.P.D. (Caroline), Kathleen (Rick) Schroeder, Colleen and Christopher C.P.D. (Fiance MaryKaren Fick), dearest grandfather of Jimmy, Lisa, Christine and Brian John, dearest brother of George Ret. Lt. C.P.D. (Beverly) Pouliet and late Lorraine and June, dear son-in-law of Margaret O'Hare, fond uncle of Donna (Joe) Mryc, and the Kieras, O'Hare, Stevens, O'Connell, Farnan and Montgomery Families. Devoted master of Shorty and Duke. Retired City of Chicago Police Dept. after 32 years of service and a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII Pacific Theatre. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. from Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 7901 S. Komensky Ave., to St. Clare De Montefalco Church, for Mass of The Resurrection at 10 a.m. Visitation Monday, 2 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL. 60607. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. 773-585-0702.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
