There will never be another like Jim; we have lost a great man, he will truly be missed. He was the best person I have ever had the privilege of knowing and working with for 9+ years, he was like a grandfather to me, generous, upstanding, honest and warm-hearted, my love and prayers are with you Carole, Debbie and Linda.I wish I had more time to thank him for always being there for me through the years, he was definitely one-of-a-kind! My deepest condolences to all the family.You lost a wonderful man, my
very special friend whose wisdom and advice was priceless and whose smile and humor will long be appreciated and remembered. I will never forget our
train rides back home at night nor our unique visit to Puerto Rico years ago
in happy times. Jim's quick wit and
infectious laugh were always a wonderful welcome at the end of any work day. Girls, I thank your father
for all the jokes and stories he shared with me over the years. In particular I will never forget his solid support over the past 30 plus years. Our "home" at 333 N. Michigan was never the same after he left. I can only hope the same can be said of me now two years later after my departure from Chicago. God bless you all.
