James Base, 77, of Blue Island, Korean War veteran, retired Blue Island Police, beloved brother of Normajeanne (late Jim) Lee, Adrienne (Hugh) Goulding and the late Gene Base, loving uncle of 14 nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of memorial service at 1:00 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home, 13050 Greenwood Ave., Blue Island. Cremation private.
