Jacquelynn Crenshaw Obituary

Crenshaw, Jacquelynn R. On November 23, 2015. Jacquelynn R. Crenshaw answered her call home. At 92 years young, she received an invitation she couldn't let pass by. The invitation was an extraordinary one in which she will be united with loved ones who have gone before her. She was an extraordinary woman, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother or "Granny" as we all called her. She was a woman who always smiled, offered a kind word and whose home was always a warm place to gather. She was a miracle on earth, having survived sickle cell anemia at a time when treatment was in its infancy and also a breast cancer survivor. She embodied what it truly meant to be one of God's greatest miracles. She made a difference in the lives of many and we want to let her know how much she will be missed and celebrated. We will not say goodbye to her for our time with her is not over only interrupted, until such time as we receive our own invitation home. The footprint of her life will be seen for eternity. We invite you to celebrate her life with us. Arrangements: Friday, November 27, 2015, AA Rayner Funeral Home, 318 East 71st Street, Chicago, IL 60619.
