Please accept my condolences on your loss. Your mother was always a gracious, compassionate and elegant lady. My sympathies to your entire family.

To the Knapp family
I was very saddened to hear of your loss. I had known Jackie for many years as I was one of the vendors who had business with Chicagoland Motel and Jackie. While working for RCA, I serviced the TV's, alarm system and telephone system. It was a pleasure working with Jackie as she was fair, understanding and a delight to deal with on a professional basis. I will miss her greatly. My prayers are with her family at this time.

Mr. Knapp, Laura & Bill - I am so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of Mrs. Knapp. She was always so pleasant and generous. I truly admired her spunk too! Everyone really loved her.
She will be greatly missed. Your family is in my prayers.

My sister contacted me tonight to tell me about the loss of your wife and mother.

I have always had a special place in my heart for your mom and all of you. I always saw her as a beautiful and gracious woman. The world has truly lost a 'very special' woman and she will be missed not only by you and your family, but by all those she touched throughout her life.

Laura, I was very sadden to hear about the loss of you mom even though I never met her. You wre always a great friend and when you hurt all your true friends do as well. Your mom must have been a fantastic person and you have a lot of that in you. May God bless you and your in this sad time in your life, Love David

I met Jackie in 1970 when I joined the Lyons Police Department. The department always had a great relationship with her and her staff and all the officers checked in on them day and night. In 1984 I married my wife Katie and found out that her and Jackie’s daughter Laura were close friends and that my new brother-in-law, Pat (PK) was best friends with Jackie’s son Billy. Where ever you saw Pat, you saw Billy. They are that close.
Over the next 24 years we saw the Knapps at many functions and get togethers. In 2004 Katie and I moved to Texas and have only been back to the Chicago area once and that was for my father-in-law’s funeral and of course the Knapps attended.
Jackie was a wonderful person and truly a classy lady. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Knapp Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife/mother. Mrs. Knapp was a wonderful person, she always had a kind word to say and was so upbeat and positive. Seeing you all over the last year reminded me of so many great memories as we were growing up. I will always remember the kindness she extended to our family.
