Jake, you NEVER judged a ROMAD by where they were, or from, or who they supported! I've kept you alive this 16 years!! I think I was supposed to be where you were!!! And I have Greg Stone on top of it all! He was my ALO!
Jake, you're here EVERY March with Greg!!! As long as I draw breath!

Remembering the great kid that hung out with my daughters. The times he was at our house, called me "Mom" and made me laugh. How blessed we were to have known him. My love, hugs and prayers.... ♥

Your son and I served in the same unit but never met (I was there 1985-1993). My wife and I visited his marked at Lincoln National Cemetery yesterday. I currently have a 24 year old son myself. I can't imagine how difficult your loss is. I pray that fond memories of your son bring you comfort always.

To the family of Jacob,we live in the same subdivision that you lived in,our sons were on the same wrestling team as yours,your daughters babysat for our sons ,our precious niece was one of the last people to be with Jacob...we all still think about care about and pray for you

today is e 7th anniversary of soldier Jacob. i never hv a chance to know him, but i feel sorry for e loved ones he left behind. may his memories never be forgotten...rip warrior

I just came home from my second deployment to Afghanistan. Going back there reminded me of Jacob and I still think of him often. There is a fire base there in Northern Afghanistan named in his honor now. God Bless.

While watching the HBO movie, "Taking Chance" I could only remember Jacob and in my mind, Jacob was the one being honored, which he so deeply deserved. He was a wonderful young man who I was proud to know. Thank you for your service to your country and for being one of the nicest young men I ever met.

I grew up with Jake in Medina,OH. He was definately a good friend and everytime I think of the sacrafice that he gave for this country, it brings a tear to my eye. He's lookin down on all of us and for that reason, I will always look up to him.

I'm sorry for your lost and send my condolences. I'm sorry it took so long to drop you a note,but I think about the fallen and the sacrifice they made every day. Perhaps,someday,my son will tell me more about him.Again my condolences and respect.

My heart and condolences go out to your family. May God be with you and your family always. My most humble thanks for the sacrifice that your family has made for our country!! I am the mother of a Marine and I do not, at any time, take for granted our freedoms, as I know that this is the hardest part of what it takes for us to have those freedoms.

We want to say thank you. We understand that no words can be adequate for your sorrow. We certainly do not want to intrude upon your privacy. As Americans we want you to know that we deeply appreciate the ultimate sacrifice your loved one has made for all of us. We also would like for you to be aware that with this letter comes our special concern and prayers for you. We are all safer because young men and women who love their country, and know the value of a free nation, are willing to put themselves in harms way, and lay down their lives to keep this nation free and safe for all of us.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Frazier, Jessica, Katherine, Zachary and Daniel,
I am so, so sorry about Jacob's death. I'm an old friend of Jessica's, from our Medina days. I was looking for her on the internet on a whim and found Jacob's obituary. Jessica, you will always hold a special place in my heart. To know the sadness you and your family have gone through pains me deeply. I love you and I'm praying for you.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Frazier family in the loss of Jacob. I did not know Jacob, but my heart is broken and I am saddened for your loss of such a fine young person and hero. May God bring you peace in your heart as you reflect on all the wonderful memories you hold so close. Please know that you are in my heart and prayers. You do not know me but I left a tribute for your family member at an earlier date. The reason for my note is to let you know of a group of people who are willing to do portraits of fallen soldiers in wood free of charge. I became aware of this site when I tried to do something special for my son's best friend's mother (my son's best friend was KIA 7/6/07, he was 18). Some of you may have already had this done but for those who did not and would like to, please contact them they are wonderful people.

Jacob was among the many true American heroes we have lost in all conflicts. Even though I did not know Jacob, I feel a certain closeness, since I stitched a counted cross-stitch piece for his family in the Remember Our Heroes project. Sadly, I have do not have an address for his next of kin. If anytone has this information and can email it to me, it would be most appreciated, so I can get the piece to its rightful owners. Thank you.

If this person can stand in battle to ensure my freedom, then I will stand in grief with his/her family to honor him/her. For every fallen HERO there is a bright star that shines in the evening sky to remind us of the cherished gift we were given – even if for too short a time.
My heart breaks again as I sign yet another guest book of another courageous young soldier who gave their life so selflessly. I wish I never found myself in a position to have to sign another guest book for the rest of my life, but I promised Le Ron A. Wilson (a dear friend KIA 7/6/07, 18yrs old) that neither he nor any like him would be forgotten and so I will continue until the day there is no longer the need.

hello all from the near past. I used to sit next to Jake in history and a couple other classes in our sophomore year. In history class we both had the same pair of hiking boots on from wal mart and relished in the fact that they were so cool. Sifting back and forth with some notes he asked me to homecoming and I had to say no even though i wanted to go - my boyfriend was in another state at the time. He always had a smile and even though I have not seen him since those days behind desks..my heart goes out to his family for their incredible and undescribeable loss. My brother had also left this plain in 2001 at the age of 26. I imagine they are hanging out together for they had similar spirits. May you all be fortunate in each day you are reminded of him and how you learned to appreciate life just a little more with his sacrifice for us all. I received a challenge coin this weekend in D.C. that has a note in memory of Ssgt. Jacob L. Frazier on it. I just wanted to let it be known that his sacrifice is not forgotten and my thoughts are with any of his family that reads this. The military has not forgotten him and his support to the SF forces is remembered.

You don't know me. I grew up in IL.. Elk Grove Village area. I am married to a TSgt in the AF. He thankgod has not had to deploy. He is a COMSEC manager. I have been married for only 3 yrs this Dec and the military is a fairly new animal to me. We spoke and decided we wanted to get the MIA/KIA bracelets to honor the ultimate sacrifice these men and women make for our freedoms. I received mine today and it has Jacobs name on it. I feel honored to wear it and will wear it with pride. I am reading everything I can to educate myself on this young man. My oldest is 18 just a few yrs younger than Jacob. I was in the same job in the Air Force and I know what kind of a man it takes to be a ROMAD. Although never meeting Jacob his loss to me is that of loosing a brother. God Bless you all.

Jake, There is not one day that goes by that I don't think of you. I think of the funny things you'd say, the wonderful things you'd do for people, and the huge heart you had, but most of all I think of what you really did for "us." (Meaning, the people of the USA)

Everytime I start to miss Doug when he's gone , I think of you and I remember what he's fighting for. Thank you Jake, and please keep watch over Doug until he returns home.

It has been nearly two years now, and I still think of Jake almost every day. We shared many good times, both in Burlington and Bloomington, and he is responsible for bringing me together with the woman I am marrying. I can only hope that I am able to see him again someday to thank him.

Jacob, you were my closest friend in Basic and I am deeply saddened by you leaving us. You are truly the hero that we all wish to be. Miss you man.

A year later my heart is still heavy. Jake was friends with my daughter Jessica S., had been to our house for meals, hung out, etc. He was a great kid and turned into a wonderful man. We are all proud of him and thankful for his efforts.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am a former graduate from Burlington and my heart is with you all in this time of need. Stay strong and God bless. Jake will always be in my prayers.

I am saddened to hear of your family's loss. I did not know SSG Frazier but my brother Dean Meucci II is a pilot in the Peoria Air National Guard and currently in the middle east. Your son, brother, fiance was an honerable man who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great country. He did not die in vain. If it were not for those unselfish and patriotic American's like SSG Frazier we would not be able to have the freedom and safety we all take for granted.
