Marchisotta, Jack J. 87, U.S. Marine WWII Veteran. Beloved husband of Dolores, loving father of Carole (Bruce) Miller, Jackie (Casey) Bogdanski, Jody (Mike) McDonnell and Judy (Terry) Amanti, loving grandfather of Shannon (Michael) Wilson, Chris Miller, Aaron (Kate) Miller, Wally (Sanna) Bogdanski, Zachary Bogdanski, Kelly and Michael McDonnell, Elise and Sarah Amanti, dear brother of Ann Manzo and Sam Marchisotta. Preceded in death by his brothers, Tony, Peter and Joseph and his sisters, Lena and Mary, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 10 a.m., from Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, to Divine Savior Church. Mass 11 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Both Karl and I have always been thankful for all the spiritual guidance that was given to us by both Auntie Dolores and Uncle Jack. While visiting Chicago on November 5th I noticed this posting for Jack. I grew up hearing the name Jack Marchisotta many times. I believe my father, Joe Fiore, who was also a Marine and would have been 87 also this year were friends. Please accept our condolences for your loss.
