Gertz, Jack dearly beloved and devoted husband for 59 years of Cele Gertz (nee Gelfond); adored and loving father of Susan Reyman Herman (Steven Herman) and the late Steven Gertz; loving brother of the late Al, Willie, Rose and Irene; fond brother-in-law and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Service Monday, 1 p.m., at the Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Boulevard, Wilmette. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, 411 S. Wells, #300, Chicago 60607.
