Gitlis, Israel Gerald "Sonny" loving husband of the late Hinda (nee Rosenthal), cherished father of Karyn (Philip Douglass) Gitlis, Mark (Jessica) Gitlis, Daniel Gitlis and the late Scott Gitlis, proud grandfather of Zohar, Noah and Jaclyn Gitlis, dear brother of the late Bea (the late Lou) Goldberg and Sheppard (the late Florence) Gitlis. Graveside Services Thursday 1:30 p.m., at Westlawn Cemetery (Section B) 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge. Memorials in his memory to Jewish National Fund, 60 Revere Drive, Suite 960, Northbrook, IL 60062, would be appreciated. He was a partner in his family business Sheppard Press.
