Mommy I miss you just as much today. Life has thrown me some changes and I wish I could talk to you about all that has happened. But you are in the presence of the Lord now and don't have to worry about anything. Your great grandsons are getting bigger and they are two happy boys. I tell Chance about you, his daddy's Awi. Until I see you again. I love you and thank you for being my mom.

Dear Mommy, oh I miss you so much, so much has happened. Milton and I are grandparents, two beautiful boys. Matthew's son looks just like him and Lique's son looks just like her. They are beautiful. You would love them so much. Milton and I are good and we just miss you. But I know you are with Junior and in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mommy I miss you so so much. There is so much I want to tell you and that I want you to know. But the Good Lord took you home and I know you are in a much better place with Junior but it doesn't make it easier for those of us left behind. I love you, until I see you again.

Thinking about Isabel and Clarissa today. Nothing special about the day...it's another dreary day in Chicago. I'm sure it's always sunny where Isabel is, with lots of hibiscus all around! Clarissa, I'm holding you close in my heart as you make your way through your grief. Much love.

Isabel was a wonderful lady, always with a big smile and a warm greeting. She will be greatly missed. We are so sorry for your loss.

Awi, I will miss you! No matter what you were going through, you always had a beautiful smile to share and a wonderful listening ear to lend. I am lucky to have known you.

Grief can be so hard, but those special memories can help us cope. Since there is no bond as great as that between a parent and child, take solace in the memories of the good times you will always carry in your hearts and minds. Isabel's legacy will continue to nourish God's earth through her children and grandchildren for generations to come.
