He was my boss, my mesader kiddushin, and (I would like to think) a friend. I did not know it at the time, but my more-or-less fortuitous phone call to him in 1981 was a major step toward finding my tafkid. I don't like this phrase, but for you I'll say it: Baruch Dayan Emet.
