Rich was a good neighbor to our family for over 40 years. I'll remember his laugh and the fond memories of Rich and Helen being a part of the Birthday club with my Parents, Lois and AL Wegenast, and other neighbors for many years. thank you for your naval service and allowing us to be free. you will be sorely missed

I have wonderful memories of travelling from Oregon to visit Uncle IB and Aunt Helen when I was seven years old, and several other times over the years. The hospitality, the food, and the breath-taking drives around Chicago with Uncle IB were outstanding. He was so tall and so strong - a great man. Our hearts go out to Aunt Helen and our cousins.
