We will always remember many an evening spent at Brian and Carol's with Irv and Lucille, usually around the dining room table, sharing good food, great stories and a lot of laughs!

I knew Irv well. I was the Computer Lab Manager at Niles Library in the early 1990s and he came in wanting to use a computer for his Destroyer Escort reunion newsletter. I helped him with it and set it up, and we talked many times about many things. His computer skills kept improving and he kept trying new things. He was always doing something for people, from the USS Rhodes destroyer group to his former Union to whatever. A really wonderful person all around. He will be missed greatly. All sympathies to his family.
