Mom (Millie Engel) and I are very sorry to hear of Irene's passing. She was her dear friend and when Mom had a medical emergency where they were eating lunch a month or so ago, Irene called 911 for Mom. She was a wonderful friend to her and I was very fortunate to have known her as well. God bless!!

Irene will be dearly missed by those who knew her. She was an asset at the Downers Grove Park District Active Adult Center both as a volunteer and participant. She was also a very good friend to me. We shared a lot of good times together.

I am so very sorry to hear the passing of Irene. She was one of my Mom's very best friend. She also called 911 last month when my Mom took ill in a restaurant. Mom will miss her very much!
