I was so sorry to read about Ira. I am very sorry I could not make the Memorial Service. I have a lot great memories of him. He was a very funny and nice man.I hope you are all doing well and God bless you all during this very hard time.

Joyce as you know Ira was a GREAT guy and treated the Chicago Police with such GREAT respect. I will always remember the GREAT times at the bar. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Ira was a such a nice guy, who put up with a lot from my husband and his friends. No matter where you go theres nothing like IRA'S BAR. Joyce thanks for taking care of Michael whenever he was in there,(which was all the time).We miss you and please know that our thoughts are with you and your family.

ira was a great guy. he will be greatly missed. we all miss ira's on madison. it will never be the same. ira's bar will never be the same. he would cook for everyone that would come in and enjoy a snack.

Neither Ira or the bar could ever be replaced. He was a great guy and a real friend. The Ira stories will live forever. He made the best corned beef I ever ate.
