It is with great sadness that I learned of Ira's passing. Having worked at the agency for over 10 years, I have many fond memories of him. Among them was having Ira pop into my office in the Hancock Building just to say 'thank you' or 'glad to have you here', and he did that to everyone which inspired all to feel they had truly contributed...or receiving one of his "See me. I" notes and leaving his office feeling he was a friend and a more dedicated member of his team. He was always unfailingly polite, immacuately dressed, dedicated to his family...his craft...his art. That is how I will always 'see you I.' My deepest sympathy and prayers to his family.

Dear Bill, Marea and family,
I remember your father as a kind and thoughtful man who had a huge influence on the lives and careers of so many people. Marcia and I are so sorry for your loss and regret we can't be with you to celebrate his life.

Dear Vivian Though it has been years, I remember our ride in Switzerland where we got a ticket. You, Dick, Ira, and I did not know what to do. However, Ira figured he'd give the policeman a little gift; he did and we were on our way. That was the beginning of our friendship.
My thoughts are with you. Alene Fishbein

Dear Vivian......I remember the wonderful years living next door to you and Ira on Lincoln Ave. I miss those golden years. I know only too well the pain of losing a beloved husband. Even though we have not seen each other in years, sweet memories do not fade.
Please accept my deepest sympathy......Fondly, Suzi Kaatz

To the Brichta family - Please know I am sorry for your loss. Many years ago, in Chicago, Mr. Brichta hired me as a secretary - the next day, I appeared in his office with my right arm in a cast, having broken it the previous evening. Mr. Brichta looked at the cast, and then at me, and said:
"How can you type with your arm in a cast?" ..."Well, you can water the plants, pour coffee and smile until your arm heals." What a genuinely warm man. May he rest in peace.
