Ida Casarotto Obituary
Ida A. Casarotto nee Teresele, Age 101. Born and raised in Chicago's Roseland Neighborhood and finished her life out in Bourbannais, Illinois. Graduate of Fenger High School class of 1939. Ida was the Freshman Class President at the Curtis Branch of Fenger High School. She was a graduate of the IBM Key Punch Operating School. Ida worked for over 20 years as a Key Punch Operator at International Harvester and at Crane Co. in Chicago, Illinois. Wife for 65 years of the late Joseph Casarotto. Mother of Joseph John Casarotto. Daughter of the late Emilia nee Panozzo and John Teresele. Sister of the late Anna (late Erminio) Frigo. Ida was an excellent wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend of many. Lying in state at St. Augustine Catholic Parish, formerly St. Christopher Parish, 4130 147th Street, Midlothian on Friday April 21, 2023 from 9:15 am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00am. Jay, my sincere condolences. Ida had a wonderful life and the best care giver. I loved our visits . May she be dancing with your dad and rejoicing with our Lord.
Ida always shared with me that you took wonderful care of her. She was very proud of you and the person you become.
