I will miss Hy. I have been in and out of his store for a great number of years. He was a nice person and a sincere buisnessman. He(with his cigar) was a true Chicago character.

My condolences to the family of Hy Sachs. Hy was my friend for perhaps 30 years, and it is hard to believe the great energy and spirit and his warm smile will no longer be with us. We will plant trees in Israel in Hy's memory. A wonderful and good man who will be missed by all who knew him. Marc Grayson, South Central Bank, Chicago
