Dear Weisman Family,
My deepest sympathies and regrets on the passing of my dearest of old friends and club brother Howie from Peterson School and Von Steuben. I still remember Howie playing catcher at the River Park Pony League. When I found out the terrible news last evening from an mutual friend, I too was crushed.

Bonnie, Wendy, Bari and Brad,

I am so sorry for your loss and for the fact that I couldn't be there in person for the services. My thoughts have often been with Howard over the past few months, and although I haven't seen all of you in several years, some of my earliest and best memories were of spending time with your family. For a little girl without a real father, your father was always a positive role model for me. Howard gave my mom lots of great advice over the years and I will never forget his kindness and generosity.

Love,
Wendy

Dear Bonnie and Family
My sincerest condolences go out to U and UR family. Howard was like a 2nd brother to me. Even though my older brother Robert was his good friend, Howard took me in like I was one of his own. I will cherish his memory and our friendship forever

Dear Weisman Family, I was sorry to learn of Howard's passing. He was one of the first people I met when I started working for the Northbrook Chamber in 1993. He was so kind to me and made me feel right at home. And, he always had a smile on his face. Though I did not see him on a regular basis in recent years, when I did bump into him around town or at your temple, he always inquired about me and my family members, showing a genuine interest. I am sorry for your loss and will remember Howard fondly.

Dear Bonnie, Bari, Wendy, Brad and family,

Howard always gave so much to everyone in his life. Although his life was cut short, he spent it in the way that was most meaningful to him, giving all he could to his family and many friends.

He always had a special meaning to me and my daughter Wendy. He helped me and guided me throughout my adult life and was a role model for my daughter. We will miss him tremendously, and feel blessed for having known him.

Howard's dad and Howard were family attorneys for my dad (Eugene)and mom(Tillie) as well as did work for me and others in the family. When ever Dad had a problem he knew he could count on Howard to make it right.
My mom is 83 yrs old and joins me in expressing our sympathy to the entire family.

Bonnie, Bari, Brad and Wendy- Your Dad/husband was among the most important people in my life. I consider him to be a surrogate father and you my extended family. He was also a tremendous mentor in both law and life. What a mensch. As I told Bari, he was not perfect; he had a bit of a temper but I loved him even more for it. There is no one with a bigger or kinder heart. His attributes extended to his professional life. Howard was a great example of what all attorneys should strive to be. He was dedicated to his clients and a fountain of knowledge - a true counselor. Howard has left a great legacy- a beautiful family and a pillar of the community. I feel very fortunate to have had Howard be such a large part of my life. I miss him very much.

Dear Bari and family,
It is with such sadness I write this...Your dad was so amazing-a man of great will and tremendous strength -who loved his family more than the world. His determination to live life fully has been handed down to you and your family and will help you get thru the saddest of days missing him. I am sure he will watch down on you and your family with faith that you will take with you all that he taught you and his memories will live on always. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.
