Veteran U.S. Army WWII age 101; beloved husband of the late Rose Mary nee Finnegan; loving father of Gayle (Joe) Jasas, Karen (David) Fietko and Howard Jr. (Traci); cherished grandfather of Joseph (Tracy), Jennifer, David (Chrissty), Jason (Jean), Michael (Angela) and Nicholas; adored great-grandfather of Joseph (Carissa), Kylie, Jonas, Jaelyn, David Ryan, Keira, Michael and Liliana; caring son of the late Harold and the late Harriet Lodding; fond brother of Merle McWalters; dear brother-in-law of the late Anna Mae McNulty, the late John and the late Michael Finnegan; devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 W. 26th Street, Chicago. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
