Harvey and I will always miss your fell informed comments and ideas during years of lively discussion. Privately. I will always miss you as my doctor and mentor.

Howard was both my friend and my doctor. I remember him as a passionate patriot of both America and Israel. I miss our heated discussions over the dinner table and his unique Sedars. His memory will a,ways be in my heart. And Ethel will always be my friend.

Nearly every day I think of Dr. Kurland. I miss him dearly. It was 2003 when we first met. He saved my life. We spent 15 years together, and while I (or he) was not family, it certainly felt that way. He taught me so much. I only wish he was still here, because I feel there was still so much he had to give.

I hope I am able to reciprocate. He was one of the special ones; a man to whom I will ever, ever be grateful.

I wish the family the best. At my wedding this week we will be lighting a wishing lantern to the sky in his honor. My Beshert and I will always remember the great man, Dr. Howard Kurland. I only wish I had the chance to tell him in person how much I loved him and how much we all miss him. Thank you for helping me, my sister. My mother, and my uncle. You were paramount.

Dr. Kurland was warm, kind and a phenomenal doctor. I miss him so much that some days I feel that my heart will overflow with tears and I will drown. Thanks be to God for the years I knew him.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of something I learned from Dr Kurland. Not only a wonderful physician but one of the most special people I have ever been lucky enough to know.

September 3, 2018

Dr. Kurland was a marvelous physician. He was compassionate, state-of-the-art capable in all issues he touched. He had an eclectic view of the world and its need for good health. His patients were always better for the time they spent with him. He has helped many people make their lives productive and joyous. Truly a great loss. He will be missed by his patients and the profession. I offer my most heartfelt sympathy and condolences for the passing of this wonderful individual. LH, St. Louis, MO

I was a patient of Doctor Kurland for over 40 years and he was central to my good health over that long period. I will miss him greatly. I have been out of town all summer and just learned of his passing. My belated condolences to his family.

Dr.Kurland, I remember a time when i would sit in your reception area for hours before my appointment because your office was the closest I could get to feeling safe. God bless and keep you, Doc. And, thank you.

No words can capture the loss to this temporal realm by the passing of Howard Kurland. There are so many positive descriptions that could be used to attempt to communicate the good that he embodied...too numerous to list. What a comfort to all he touched...just knowing that he was "just around the corner" as needed. His light will shine forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate to be touched by his "Jewish Soul" - a term that he once described to me.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
May the God of all comfort strengthen you at this time.

I feel deeply saddened by Howard's passing. He was a wonderful man, an excellent physician, a loving father, and a fine business associate. I will miss him deeply and will take into the future sweet memories. May he rest in peace and may his family remember the wonderful memories and adjust to his passing without undue burden. With heartfelt sympathies, James L Rosenberg

As my friend, as my pain Doctor, as my confidant, I will miss your wise advice and kind, healing hands. You were always there when I needed you. I will also treasure our friendship as couples, and the many musical evenings we spent together. Shabbat and Passover at the house with you "at the helm" will remain in my memory forever. Howard, Harvey and I will hold you in our hearts forever.
