Howard Chapman Obituary

KINGS MOUNTAIN - Howard Gerald Chapman Jr., 50, of 807 2nd St., died Nov. 7, 2010, at Kings Mountain Hospital.

He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Howard Gerald Chapman Sr. and was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Marie Chapman.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Smith Williams of the home, a daughter, Cathy Marie Chapman of Doster, Va.; two sons, Howard Geral Chap-man III and Joshua Dean Chapman both of the home; two stepdaughters, Crystal and Belinda Chapman both of Doster, Va.; three sisters, Rita Sturgen of Earl, Lisa Diane Dixon of Bessemer City, Pamela Elaine Phillips of Gastonia, and three grandchildren, Austin Gerald Chapman, Serenity Faith Chap-man, and Lilly Ann Chapman.

A graveside service conducted by the Rev. James Lockridge will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Alexis Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home.

Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is in charge of arrangements.
