I love the life of this lady so very much, she suited my father so very well. I saw an impeccable and amazing example of a truly great friend til the end not only to my father as he battled cancer, but my entire family. Holly is also a stellar and prime independent female. I truly admire this woman for everything that she is. She made me feel comfortable and welcome and I always looked forward to weekend sleepovers as kid. What an honor to have known this magnificent gal. CHEERS! To the Society of Hard Women, (if ya know, then ya know), Miss Holly, you are forever etched in my soul.

I was just thinking about Holly Rothschild today and am so saddened to learn that she is no longer with us. I knew her at NTE. She was a bright light, so full of life, so outgoing, funny and warm....a sprite. I wished I could be more like her. Rest In Peace, Holly, you clearly touched so many lives.

I only knew Holly through fifth grade, but fondly remember her energy and spirit. My twin brother and I spent many afternoons after school with her and Gay Fraker, knocking around the Hubbard Woods playground and her home nearby. Farewell, dear Holly, and my heartfelt condolences to the Rothschild family.

Oh Holly--
I will miss your beautiful face, your radiant smile, your contagious laughter and your constant positive aura. Your family shared many stories with me, but you always shared the best.
How many years did your family frequent our business- 40 years- a very long time. And each time I saw you, you made my day brighter.
I was so shocked to hear of your passing. I'm so sorry I was not there to say goodbye.
I pray you are surrounded by green pastures, beautiful flowers, radiant sunshine and butterflies.
I will forever remember you. Thank you from my heart. I will miss you very much.

Mandy Robertson introduced me to Holly in 1974, saying, "you are going to love my soul sister!" I did, right away. The 3 of us, had so much fun and closeness. Holly and I, driving Hwy 1 on the Pacific coast in my VW bug decided to take a break and sleep. So I backed off the road up an embankment, at night, in an effort to level the backseat for comfortable sleeping.Once we were level I pulled on the parking brake. Waking the next morning I look out the window to discover we were hanging over a cliff above the Pacific Ocean. As Holly would say, "Yiiikes!"
Those years are dear to me. We continued to be connected through the years, though sometimes distant, those miles and years slipped away when we came together, through either phone or personally. Nora came in almost the same time.
It's been so hard to lose Nora first. We rallied and held each other up. ...and then Holly. So tragic...
Thank you for the blessed gift of your Holly.
Peace

Holly, my dear old friend. You were one of my best friends in high school, although that time was too short. You came out to visit me in California when I moved there, in our late teens. I'm so fortunate to have seen you for lunch, 2 years ago. We had a lovely time catching up & you looked so beautiful. We shared so much & laughed a lot that day!! Love forever, Trishie

I ran into Holly around a month ago in Glencoe. We went to school together from Hubbard Woods all the way to NTE. We also shared a love of horses.
We promised to get together really soon.
I feel so blessed to have connected with Holly after decades of not seeing one another. We recognized each other right away.
Be in peace old friend. I will always remember you.

I spent a wonderful day with Holly getting to know each other as we trimmed the lavender surrounding her farm house in Northern Michigan. She was so nice, chatting with her was like talking to a friend I had known forever. I will think of Holly & our afternoon of gardening every time I smell lavender. Our thoughts are with Ken & family. Julie & Jason Sitzema

My sympathies to the Rothschild family. Many years ago I attended summer camp with Holly. She was fun and full of life as she bounced along on toes with her long brown wavey hair blowing in the breeze. Memories I will cherish.

Holly lives on in my mind and heart as I look at her and smile with the memory of knowing her. And I give thanks to the CBG Woman's Board that introduced us and gave me memories for a lifetime.
I loved that woman and cry thinking she is no longer with us.
At this moment she seems irreplaceable.
