Herman Price Obituary

Price, Rev. Herman formerly of Marvell, Arkansas, Associate Minister of Bread of Life B.C. He was the dear son of Veola Brewster of Marvell, AR, loving husband of 48 years to Lena (nee Lewis), dear father of Carolyn Price, Janice Price-Hawthorne (Joel), Diane Price-Dennis (Ronald), Jacquelyn Price-Ward (George) and Rhonda Price, dear brother of 14, John Wesley, Roy, Delton, Willie C., Larry and Jeanette all of Marvell, AR, Michael, Gloria, Doris, Carolyn, Willie, James, Floyd and Linda all of Flint, MI, grandfather of 16, great-grandfather of three all of Chicago, a host of nieces, nephews and many many friends. He was a former Precinct Captain of the 16th Ward. He was one of the members of the 16th Ward Democratic Organization. He was a Community Activist for the Englewood Community. He worked as a foreman for the City of Chicago Water Dept. for 32 years. He will be missed dearly. Visitation Monday, May 20th, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 21st, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Seals Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ltd., 8354 S. Marquette Ave. (five blocks east of Yates Blvd.). Family hour Tuesday, May 21, 7 p.m. Homegoing Services 8 p.m. at Bread of Life Missionary Baptist Church, 1924 W. 63rd St. (corner of Winchester).
