Herbert "John" Anderson Stephens, Jr, 76, of Pullman, MI (formerly Haines City, FL and Chicago Heights, IL) died on Monday, October 4, 2021 with family by his side.
Herbert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Susan Rae Stephens in 2015 and by his daughter, Roberta "Robbie" Amano in 2012.
He is survived by his three children, Jonathan (Julie) Stephens, Scott (Nicholas Moore) Stephens and Jessica (Damian) Massanelli; four grandchildren, Michael Amano, Brett, Brock and Allison Stephens; seven siblings along with many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Herbert was a skilled handy man who knew how to fix anything and the proper way for his assistant to hold a flashlight. He loved to fish, garden, spend time with his family, and relax while watching classic car auctions with his beloved dog, Dagney. His loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew him.
