Mr. Mohn (as I will always call him) was an amazing educator, a consumate leader and boss, and a wonderful individual I had the pleasure to learn from throughout most my life (as both a student and an employee). My condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

Herb was the first person I met at Roosevelt School almost 24 years ago. His kindness, warmth and sense of humor has stayed with me all those years. With adjoining offices, we shared many details of our lives. By the many stories that he shared, it was evident that he loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren! I will forever remember the many days spent laughing with Diana, Maria, Herb and Tom. When Herb and Tom would get together, it was like watching a Vaudville act. We would laugh so hard that tears would roll down our faces and our cheeks ached. Such fond memories. Carmen, my love and prayers to you and your family. May your wonderful memories of Herb carry you through this difficult time. I look forward to reuniting with Herb when I get to heaven. Thank you for your friendship and rest in peace my dear friend.

Our Dearest Carmen & Family: We are deeply saddened to learn of Herb´s passing. He was one of the best soft-spoken persons we have ever met through MVCC. We thank him for his military service, work at Elsie´s Pantry & us to be included in the Communion Ministry. Many blessings on the Mohn Family. Our world has lost a good man. Peace & Love.
