Dear Rick,
My condolences for the passing of your dad.
I didn't know Herb all that well but my dad sure enjoyed spending time and competing with him.

Dear Daitchman Family, Your Dad was someone we loved very much. A handsome man, good dancer, a wonderful family man and even a great boss! Bob worked with and not for Herb at Par Packaging for many years. I met your Mom when they lived in a townhouse in Skokie. They were so much older...40. Just think how young they were. They came to all our events and showed love an example of how to be a great married couple. Bob and I had dinner with your Dad in Feb of this year in California. I will remember him as happy, telling his jokes and his great smile. Sorry we can't be with you. We are in Raleigh, NC visiting our grandchildren. Give our love to all the family. Words will never express what I am feeling right now. My father and I shared a very special relationship and I am so thankful to have had him. He was the most generous and loving man while not always being able to show it, we all knew how much he loved us. Always had a joke to tell. Dad, you touched everyones lives that you meet and will be missed by all. I love you...
