Berman, Herbert "The Chief" age 85, beloved husband of the late Evelyn, devoted father of Barry, Preston (Sharon), and Linda (Mark) Mallon, proud papa of Jeffrey, Alex, and Sophie, dear brother of the late Rhoda Manushaw. Chapel service Wednesday, 12:15 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Dear Barry, Preston and Linda,
I was very sad to hear of your father's passing. I go back with him when we worked together at County Rabies Control and then the Sheriff's Office as well as the 50th Ward.
Herbie was a special friend and now you can keep all the special memories in your hearts for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
