Hartmann, Henry Horst Age 85. Devoted husband of the late Eleanor Frantz Hartmann. Loving father of David (Susanne). Proud grandfather to Nathaniel and Michelle. Loving brother of the late Walter (the late Phyllis) Hartmann. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Good friend. Proud veteran of the British Home Guard and U.S. Army. Stained glass artist and teacher. He passionately loved what was best about his adopted home, and worked to change those things that he felt were less than the ideal. Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 8, 2012 at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie, IL. Interment Private.
