My sympathy to Mrs. Slapak's family. She was my kindergarten teacher in 1960 at St. Turibius. She was an amazing teacher and person. Whenever I saw her she would remember me even when I was in high school. She always made you feel special and loved.

I had Mrs. Slapak in kindergarten in 1960 at St. Turibius. She was a wonderfully kind and beautiful woman. My sincerest sympathy to her family.

Mrs. Slapak was a wonderful person and teacher. I was in her class in 1960 and enjoyed visiting her for many years after my Kindergarten days. She will be missed. My sincere sympathy to her family. Kathy Schomer Bergen (Gillespie, IL)

Mrs. Slapak was such a wonderful lady. She is a very special warm memory to so many "kids" from St. Turibius. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Helene was dearly loved by all of us at Incarnation because she was a holy woman of great faith, kindness, and love. She will be missed. I know she is now at peace with God in a most wonderful place. Love and God bless to her family. Alice Doherty
