Heino Wieger Obituary

Wieger, Heino Claus age 70, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Hope Hospice. He was born in Hamburg, Germany on July 16, 1939. Son of the late Frieda Brettschneider and Fritz Wieger. He was the beloved husband of Blanca Nelson, loving father of Claudia (Cloud) Kasper, Jonathon Kasper, and Andrea Wieger, stepfather to Lilly Yanez and Rocky Nelson, proud grampa to Alexander Kasper, and stepgrampa to Sophia, Eduardo, and Olivia, youngest brother to Erika Bielefeld, and the late Gerd Wieger, loving Onkel to Carsten and Imke Wieger, Susann and Jens Christiansen, great-Onkel to Janne, Jorid, Lynn, Jon, and Anne. He was a retired founding member of Quast and Company. His passions included bike riding along the Chicago lakefront, walking the beaches of Sanibel Island, his morning swim, a love of classical music, taveling the world, golfing, reading, and his 5:00 o'clock Brandy Manhatten. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at The Chicago Firehouse, 1401 South Michigan, Chicago IL, phone 312-786-1401.
