I held your hand in life. I hold your memory now; for each night that I am on this earth. I hold it as a beacon in the night, searching for you, as I have this year.

I was shocked and saddened to see Heather's obituary in The ASHA Leader. Although we did lose touch, she was my best friend at NU Graduate School. I have wonderful memories of your wedding and later visiting at Hilton Head when both our daughters were infants. We had such good times together; she was a good friend. So sorry for your loss. My sympathies to Jordan and Krista as well.

I am so sad to hear of Heather's passing. She was my roommate at Loyola's Rome Center and my friend throughout our younger years. Although we lost touch over the years, I've always remembered her laugh and friendship. Such a loss.
