Pollack, Harvey loving husband of Annette (nee Robins), cherished father of Alan (Debbie) Pollack, Sherry (Dennis) Makowski, Mark (Renee) Pollack and Bonnie (Michael) George, adored grandfather of Brandon, Kevin, Danielle, Dayna, Ryan, Austin and Hannah. Services Friday, 10 a.m., at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (one block north of Lake Cook Road), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom. A great legend will be missed in the closeout industry. I had the pleasure of working with Harvey over the last 22 years, not at one company but at two. He always worked for his customers. He was the type of salesperson that could sell sunglasses to Eskimos. He will never be forgotten in the closeout industry. I just wish he could have enjoyed more of his retirement but as we all know, he was a worker and that was never going to change. He was special to all that had the pleasure to know him. He was a great man, that Harvey.
