There are not many years of my life, and then my life with Jane, that did not include Harvey K. He was a man of wit and therefore appreciated wit. He was a man of talent who therefore appreciated the talent of others. He was also that beautiful Jewish-American scholar, who remarked about so many things over so many years, "Thank you for sharing that. I am glad I learned that." The years went on and always thought of you as the "young guy." And the good guy. You can be sure your memory is a blessing to Jane and me.
