Bender, Harvey former Automobile Dealer, beloved husband of Ruby (nee Kaplan), dear father of Helen (Marc) Rubenstein and John (Margaret) Bender, loving grandfather of Stacy (Joseph) Raviv, Amy (Milan) Rubenstein, Joshua Rubenstein, Jamie (Manuel) Gliksberg, Courtney, Alex, and Thomas Bender, great-grandfather of Eytan, Eden, and Gabriel Raviv and Maximilian Rubenstein, fond brother of the late Ivan Bender. Services Monday, 12:00 Noon at THE PISER CHAPEL, 9200 Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Interment Westlawn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chicago Jewish Day School, 5959 N. Ruby, I am so sorry to hear of Harvey's passing. He was a delight to know and work with for us at Padco. Never a cross word. He has my respect, my sympathy goes out to you.

I am very sorry to hear about Harvey's passing. I have many very fond memories of him (and all of you) from our high school years and beyond. I'm also sorry I was not aware of this in time to pay my respects to all of you in person while you were sitting.

I was sorry to learn of Harvey's passing. I believe that we were fraternity brothers at Sigma Alpha Mu. I remember him fondly.
