Anne. I just learned this evening of Harry's passing. I am very sorry for your loss. We were just in Illinois because my brother Joe passed away just last week. If I had known any sooner of Harry's death, we would have reached out to visit you. We'd like to see you on our next trip from Florida. Meantime, please do take care of yourself. Jan and Junior

It's impossible to find the words to describe what our father meant to our family but I must try...
Jaclyn and I talk often about people who demonstrate strong emotional intelligence. It really means striking perfect balance in attitude, decisions, empathy and dozens of other attributes. Our father was exactly that. Right words at the right time. Uncompromising love and support. Always interested and inquisitive. Sophisticated about life but loved the simple things. Caring with the right amount of caution. Almost always happy with a warm and inviting smile. Friend to anybody. Always looking to help out. Skilled at anything he tried. Really good athlete. Always had an opinion but open to hear yours.
I truly believe he knew how special he was because he saw how everyone reacted to him. Always with respect, warmth and love.
Pa, may you rest in peace. We will honor you as long as we live.
Your loving son, jack.

May you find comfort with family and friends during this time, and know Harry has arms wrapped around him for comfort and peace in a beautiful place. Love, Ed and Dianne Balach

Our grandpa was/is one if the most caring, funny, appreciate, proud, and loving family man we have ever known. We are so grateful he has passed those traits on to our parents, as well. We can only pray that our families will be as close as the one that grandma and grandpa raised. They say it's true that the man you marry is a representation of your father. I'm beyond blessed that my husband not only represents my father and his family beliefs, but my grandfather's, as well. Grandpa, you fought your whole life for our country, your family, and your life. Now it's time for you to rest and enjoy your eternal life. You can be sure that we will contine to pass on the traditions you started. We love you so much. -Your grand kids, Nick and Lindsay Schloemer
