Marianne, I was so sorry to hear about you dad. He talked about you and how proud he was of you. He was a gentle giant with a great heart. I worked with him at the Lincoln Park Conservatory and had many talks with him about plants and flowers. I think he was a great lover of nature. He will be missed.

Dear Marianne and Family,
Harry was a Giant among Giant's, he stood tall and always had a kind word. Harry worked for my Chairman for at least 25 years and we all got to know him very well, we laughed, joked and I remember one evening at work trading my out of the world stories with him and he understood me because he had a few to tell too. There was nothing Harry would not do for us here at Equity, he was always on top of things asked of him and never complained, he was our friend.
He talked about you, your Mom and I knew how much he missed your Mom, that was indeed a Love Match and, you called every day to check on him, he was a Good Dad, you will always have those memories. Life has strange twist and turns but I will remember Harry and we all will miss him here at Equity. Harry is with his Beloved and they are your Guardian Angels, God Bless you always.

Harry will be missed by all the staff at Lincoln Park Conservatory. He always had a smile and kind word for everyone. Even after he no longer worked Security here, he continued to stop by and check up on us. My condolences to all his loved ones.

Uncle Harry was one of the finest men, I have ever known and loved. He would often stop into our house, when he lived around the corner in the West Pullman area. He always had a smile and a laugh. He was such a good story teller to make us laugh. He was a great inspiration to all, especially to my brother, the late John Michael Patterson, who followed his footsteps into the Chicago Police Department. My condolences to his daughter, Marianne. Love, Janet Patterson-Goshorn.
