Hardesty, Harry E. age 67, late of Oak Lawn, passed away Friday, July 25, 2003, cherished husband for 48 years of Marlene A. (nee Tebbens), faithful friend of Kodiak, loving father of Scott Delvan, Raymond Russell (Katherine) and Michael Emerson (Sandy) Hardesty, beloved brother of Alfreda (Robert) Rommel and late Judy Wilson, devoted brother-in-law of Cory (Donna) Tebbens, dearest grandfather of Christopher Russell, Sarah Ann, Raymond Aaron, Corey Emerson and Megan Corrin Hardesty, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Lying-in-State Tuesday, July 29, 2003, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church, 9230 S. Pulaski Rd., Oak Lawn with Dr. James Sandberg, Pastor officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. a the Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Harry, I just want you to know that your son Scott is one of the nicest people I have ever met. From the day I met him he never judged me by the way I looked. He only heard the smile in my voice.
