Having worked in the Fire Prevention Unit with Harold, who brought me into the Exit Sign & Fire Alarm Section originally in 1980 when he was the captain there, I have many wonderful memories of his fairness and how he used to rib me about having to get approval from his wife, Bernice, for me to take a day off. It has been many years since I last saw Harold and late today is when I found out he had passed away. I am sorry that I will be unable to attend the funeral, but I always will remember a really great guy and boss. Bernice, my wife and I extend our sympathy and prayers.
