Dad, I miss you so much! I wish we had more time to spend with each other! My heart broke to pieces even more when Mom went home to you in June! You gave me an amazing Mom when you married her. Thank you! Thank you for my beautiful Sisters and wonderful brother! I am so proud of all of them and their families!
Lately, every memory I had of you and Mom has overwhelmed me! I bought a refrigerator last year and your words came to me. On January 1st, 1979 you told me that I needed to be able to buy a refrigerator before I should go out on my own. Just like a teen I went ahead and got married in February of that year! I wish I had listened to you! That is one of the most beautiful moments I had with you because you gave me sound advice. There are many things you said to me that actually I believe helped me be who I am today. I did listen to a lot of your wisdom. You and Mom were very wise!
Anyway, I was thinking of you and Mom! I miss you both! I love you very much! I will see you when my chores here on earth are done. Thank you for leaving me with such amazing siblings. They are all so special to me! XOXO
Love always and forever,
Your daughter, Judy

Most of the time you say "Happy Anniversary", this was undoubtly not a happy anniversary. We miss you so much!!!! It's just not the same without you, cracking your jokes, loving your grandkids, and aggravating mom. We will never forget you. I was touched by the tears from heaven as we planted a reminder of you. It will grow, as our love for you will grow. We will all be able to watch it grow up towards heaven by you. I love you and miss you, wish you were here. But at last you have found peace. Love you dad, forever.

Uncle Harold, you are Mama's only, and baby, brother. Mama loved you so very much. She seemed to have a very close spot in her heart for you. I suppose this came from your being the last two children at home. Please tell her hello for me. I miss her so very much.
My condolences and heartfelt empathy to Aunt Claudie, Laura, Tammi, Keith, spouses, grandkids and friends. We have all truly lost a wonderful person from our lives.
I know that we may not have seen each other much due to the distance between homes, but this does not diminish the love that is felt for you, or your famly, by those of us who love and miss you here in the South.
Until we meet again and the circle regathered, know that we all love and miss you so very much.
Your Niece,
Phyllis J. K. Owens

Harold was probably the GREATEST mechanic in the world, second only to his awesome, down home personality. He took care of Larry's cars then mine after our marriage. I would go there with some "noise"(mechanical illerate) coming from my car and 9 out of 10 times it would cost me $1,000 which meant 0 dollars. He did so much for so many people just like us. That's just the way he was. We are going to miss you terribley Bud, my condolences and Prayers go out to your family as, they have lost the "GREATEST MAN I EVER KNEW".
PEACE BE WITH THEM ALL. And thanks Bud.

This is my beloved dad. I am his oldest child. He has two other grandchildren, Tiara (Jesse) Duncan and David Jesse and two great grandbabies, Andrea (5) and Joshua (4), by Tiara. I have lived in the Kansas City area most my life and only saw my dad on occasions. He was a wonderful dad to all of us and a great husband to my Chicago mom. Dad was a great man with so much wisdom and a heart of gold. I loved my dad, Harold Keith Grantland. From his daughter, Judy

Harold was a very personable young man when I first met him at 16. My 1st husband introduced us. "I RECKON" was one famous saying I'll never forget. I'll always remember his smiling face and good nature.
