Grace Davis Obituary

Davis, Grace Melissa Eubank Of Evanston, Illinois died on February 14, 2012 at the age of 98. She was the widow of Clarence Davis. She was born on May 23, 1913 in Etoile, Kentucky to the late Thomas Larry Martin Alexander Eubank and Dovie Celecia Martin Eubank. In 1933, she moved to Winnetka, Illinois then later to Evanston. She graduated from the Chicago Board of Education School of Practical Nursing on October 29, 1953 where she was Valedictorian of her class. She retired in 1980 from Lakeside Veterans Hospital in Chicago. Memorial services to be held at 11 am, Saturday February 25, 2012 at St. Andrew Episcopal Church located at 1934 Darrow Avenue. Interment: Sunset Memorial Lawns, Northbrook, Illinois. Survivors: Sister, Geneva E. Parker of Indianapolis, Indiana; three nephews, fourteen nieces and a host of other relatives.
