Gloria Galante Obituary

So sorry to hear of your loss. We met Dr. Galante in San Diego. She rented our condo for a few months while there. She was a generous and very open person who loved her family. We know she enjoyed her stay and the beach close by. We wanted to offer her friends and family our sincerest sympathies. We felt priveleged to know her, if only for a brief time.

I was saddened to hear of your loss. Gloria was a member of our writer's workshop in San Diego. She was a talented writer and a valuable contributor to our group. I considered her a friend. She will be missed.

Dear Gus, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I remember thinking when my mother passed away, I never felt quite as safe again.

We are in absolute shock to learn of Gloria's death. We left LaJolla at the same time in March and she appeared in perfect health. We were La Jolla buddies - spent daily time with her going to classes and sharing social events where Gloria was loved and admired by all.

We were heartbroken to learn of her passing and will miss her beyond words. Our hearts go out to her family. We knew of her devotion to her children and grandchildren first hand and regret their loss. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

I don't know that I ever met Dr. Galante, but I've known of her name and the fruits of her life for most of my life. I grew up with her daughter and knew more of Dr. Galante's reputation as a wise and caring physician, and the wife and mother of a loving, wise, purposeful, gracious, classy, and solid family. Her persona continues to inspire me, and hers seems a life well lived, and beautifully so. May the Eternal give you all peace, comfort, and strength
