Gladys Curatolo Obituary

For some unknown reason (maybe it was my mom giving me a "heavenly heads-up"),I was thinking about your mom today. Imagine my surprise when I googled her name & saw her obituary, stating she had passed away 10 days ago! I am so sorry for your loss-I know how difficult it is to lose your mom. Your mom was a wonderful lady & my mom's lifelong friend-maybe she was letting me know they got back together-what a wonderful thought! My dad sends his condolences as well. God bless you all-keep all the good memories in your heart.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gladys a few times after assuming her position at Ingalls two years ago. She was the matriarch of the medical staff so of course these are very big shoes for me to try and fill! The medical staff wish to extend their deepest sympathy to her family and will be making a donation to the American Cancer Society on her behalf.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. The loss of your Mom is felt here in Pittsburgh too. Remember she will always be with you, and if you look to the sky you will find a extra bright star.

Trips to Chicago won't be the same without a visit with Gladys. Love and prayers to all of you; wish I could be there.
