Gilda Bartuch Obituary

I met Gilda through the Shrine and if I were to describe her in one word, it would be powerhouse. She was a strong, vibrant woman and the Shrine exists today because all she did for it. Favorite memories was going to the beauty shop every week with my mom and knowing I wanted to ask your mom to be my sponsor..I remembered she cried when I asked her..and then the whole beauty shop went crazy!! What fun and good times I will never forget..it was and is an honor to be her godchild..I will miss her so much and her bday cards and phone calls to me..never ever missed a year..hope she is hanging with my dad and I know he greeted her with open arms..I'm praying she gave him a big kiss and hug for me from our family..you will forever be my "GODSISTERS".❤ jphil

I remember Gilda in our fight to save Our Lady of Pompei. I loved her great disposition, positive outlook, fighting spirit, and common sense. She brings back many beautiful memories for me. She is just one terrific lady!!! My condolences to her family and all who love her.

Dear Cathy, Cindy & all your family, We all have such fond memories of Gilda, she was my 1st beautician when I was 5 yrs. old but the thing I remember most was being at the Beauty Shop on Saturdays having breakfast in the back room. She will be sorely missed by all both in & out of the neighborhood. Another great Lady has gone to Heaven. We will miss her!!!
