On a Saturday evening in February of 1963, my parents, Grover & Louise Poust, called Dr. Lee from Government Camp. They were bringing their daughter down off the mountain with what appeared to be a broken leg from skiing. That daughter was me. Dr. Lee met us at Valley Medical Clinic and set the leg. He was so nice and so gentle! He even had me laughing. He was our doctor for many years and remains the yardstick against which I measure my doctors. My heartfelt sympathy to you all.

As a past associate and long time friend, I have many happy memories of Prentiss. He was a great physician-always compassionate and caring. He was a loyal and steadfast friend. In so many respects he was my idol. He was much beloved by his many patients. His life was indeed full and rich in accomplishments
Our sympathy to Patty and Family.

We think of Dr. Lee often. As a coworker in the Vallley Medical Clinic he was an inspiration as a physician and as a person.
Our best wishes to Patty

My friend and uncle, Gilbert Prentiss Lee, always had a kind word for me and a friendly, sincere greeting during every one of my very special visits with him, dating from 1964, right up to early June. My uncle had a very big and good heart, he enriched my life and I'll miss him very much. He made the world a better place, with his kindness, devotion and his special spirit. Baker, Oregon should be very proud! My father, Granville E. Lee, had a wonderful brother and friend, in Prentiss. Goodbye, my friend. I miss you now and I always will. You're a good man, Uncle Prentiss!

Dear Mrs. Lee and family,
I am quite sure you will not remember me, but I have always remembered you and your wonderful husband. My parents were Mr. & Mrs. Charles Raymond Whitcomb. Both of my parents were patients of your husbands for a very long time at the Valley Medical clinic. My mother Nancy Lisetta Whitcomb was an artist and I remember that you and your husband loved several of her paintings and they hung in his reception room and office. My mother passed away in 1989 of cancer, but her memory and her lagacy will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her and her painting. Please know that Dr. Lee will always live on in the hearts of not only you and his family and friends that loved him, but also by those of us that he "touched" with his skills and kindness as a wonderful physician.
