Slav, Gertrude (nee Dubrovsky), 86, beloved wife of the late Sol Slav, devoted mother of Loren D. (Sandie) Slav and Amy (Peter T. Livorsi) Slav-Livorsi, proud "bubbe" of Kim, Jeffrey, Jared and Danielle, dear sister of Lillian (the late Milton) Ushman, the late Fanny (the late Sam) Schaeffer, Bertha (the late Ed) Cole, Albert (the late Mildred) DuBrow, cherished daughter of the late Aaron and Minnie Dubrovsky (nee Berliant), a good and loyal friend to many. Graveside services Monday, 11:30 a.m., at Menorah Gardens, 2630 S. 17th Ave., Broadview. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 70 W. I am so sorry for you lose. I will never forget Bubby's great sense of humor and stories, especially her "lectures" everytime I got a new tatoo. Your family is in my thoughts.
