Geraldine Stauber Obituary

Stauber, Geraldine (nee Eide), beloved mother of Donald Gene Stauber and the wife of the late Edward Stauber. She also leaves behind her newly accepted daughter and personal RN Maryknoll Laggui, her loving great-niece and godaughter, Bobbi Bruce and great-nephews, Robert and Brian Hokanson and their families. She is also the loving teacher and friend of her students from 1941 - 1949, at the one-room Neff and Ostrander schools. Special thanks to all of the Health Care Professionals and staff at the Abington in Glenview, the Ballard in Des Plaines and all of the surgeons, physicians, nurses and personnel at Lutheran General Hospital. "Mother, Teacher, Friend". Funeral service 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles. Interment Irving Park Cemetery. Old friend, I am saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. I just learned of this and wanted to express my sorrow for you and your family. I'm sure you have many wonderful memories and know that you are very strong and wish you comfort and peace at this time. Not knowing your mother but knowing you I'm sure that much of your love for life must have come from her. I am so sorry for your loss.
