Gerald O'Shea Obituary

O'Shea, Gerald V.

June 23, 1951 – August 2, 2021. Born in Chicago and raised in Winfield, IL in the loving family of Thomas E. and Mary Ellen O'Shea. Siblings Kevin (Laurie), M. Deborah Awe (William), Mary Ann Morrow (Robert), Michael (Jeanne), Terrence (Donna), Thomas, Maurita Vincent (David). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. We remember Jerry for his love of fun and mischief, doing crossword puzzles, reading history and trying never to miss Jeopardy. He was a dreamer. He would call you and not bother to identify himself and ask something like "how do I make lasagna?" Funeral mass will be at St John the Baptist, 0 S 233 Church St, Winfield, IL on September 1, 2021 at 10:30 am. Burial private.

Growing up in Winfield, my family lived just down the street from the O'Shea family. Jerry was in the same class as my brother Steven and me at St. John's. I remember fun times and lots of laughter. Jerry had a kind heart and a great sense of humor. Wishing comfort to his family. May he rest in peace.
